Someone ought to write this for guineas. The issue is the ramps, they get confused and just huddle under the landing. Chickens, ducks and geese get confused from time to time, but guineas are often confused--especially when you do not want them to hurry up. The solution is to make the ramps as long as the landing and close off the sides. Or just get rid of the guineas.
Guineas have this remarkable ability to escape their pen and then completely forget to use that same method of escape to re-enter their pen. They will pace along the perimeter getting more and more agitated, jib-jib-jibbing in frustration and fear until finally being herded back inside. Guineas are good for pest control and do not seem to be as destructive towards useful plants like chickens, ducks and geese--the very reasons you have a pen in the first place.
