Dog Ramp
When I first saw this filth hound he would sniff around the aisles for extra food that fell from ripped bags, but now his owners keep a wary eye out for this. He is on a diet and mournfully eats his carrot snacks. The dog ramp amused me, but the important lesson I learned is not to assume a dog's friendly disposition will remain the same once in a vehicle or anywhere else. I was helping these customers load some feed once the filth hound was inside the van and was shocked when I was attacked. I was petting the filth hound mere seconds earlier, but the van was his domain and I was encroaching. Naturally the customers warned me after the fact. Good guard dog.

Defective Defecators
A customer wanted to return some ducks she bought a couple weeks ago. I assumed it would be similar to the defective duckling incident. I could not have been more wrong. Not in this universe or in any theoretically possible parallel one.
The customer bought some chickens at the same time she bought the ducks and erroneously assumed they would be the same. She complained about how messy they are saying something to the effect "They shit too much and need to go". Ha, yeah, ducks are different, and at least she admitted she made a mistake and learned from it.

Awesome Watch Dog
This was quite the sight. Everyone stopped and stared. This huge dog was just sitting there enjoying the breeze on a mild day watching the traffic. I took multiple pictures but the dog always looked away as if camera shy. I kinda miss my old phone because the camera didn't require as much focus time. I should probably just carry it around to take pictures since the quality is surprisingly decent. I'd always taken pictures with it, but didn't realize the quality until one day I transferred them to my computer and then I wished I'd taken more, since sometimes I didn't even bother because I assumed the quality was horrible.

Rule 32: Enjoy the Little Things
Things have been pretty stressful for a while and I think it's important to take time to enjoy the little things. I let a lot of things I can't even control bother me too much, so even though I started this blog with a more serious intent, from time to time I'll share some of the little things I have enjoyed.
This is one of the more amusing load outs I ever had. I got a call for a load out for a single bale of straw. So I'm standing out back waiting and see this van pull up and the passenger exits and asks if I have any string or rope so he can tie the bale to roof. "Uh, no, why not just put it inside"? Well, it was occupied by a few smelly calves. "We're kinda redneck" said the driver. Ha, I don't have a problem with that.
